In the field of intelligent injection molding, the Group will build the first AIoT injection molding flexible production line for auto parts and medical packaging materials in China in 2023. The production line integrates high-precision servo hydraulic system, embedded in-mold sensor network and self-learning process optimization algorithm. It can collect 200 + process parameters such as temperature, pressure and pressure holding time in real time. Through dynamic adjustment of injection molding parameters through edge computing platform, the qualified rate of product size is increased to 99.98, mold loss is reduced by 35%, and single-piece energy consumption is reduced by 22%. At present, the technology has been applied to high reliability scenarios such as GAC E'an battery housing bracket and Meirui Medical sterile syringe tray, and has been recognized by Guangdong Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factory.
In terms of green materials, the Group and South China University of Technology jointly established the "Bio-based Polymer Materials Joint Laboratory" and successfully realized the stable mass production of PLA/PBAT/natural cellulose composite system at the 10,000-ton level. The GP-ECO series of biodegradable modified materials independently developed by the company have passed the double certification of GB/T 19277.1 and EN 13432. Under the condition of industrial composting, the degradation rate reaches 92.6 within 180 days, and the thermal deformation temperature reaches 95 ℃, which can meet the requirements of medium-temperature application scenarios such as cold drink cups, fresh trays, express buffer lining, etc. In the first half of 2024, the Group's orders for biodegradable products increased by 176 year-on-year, covering the supply chain of head brands such as box Ma Xiansheng, Jingdong Logistics and Xi Tea.
, it is worth noting that the group did not separate intelligence and green, but built a 'digital twin and green formula' collaborative research and development platform: using the digital model of the injection molding process to reverse optimize the rheological parameters of biomaterials, shorten the new formula process adaptation cycle from 45 days to 9 days. This innovative model was selected into the "2024 Green Manufacturing Typical Case Collection" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and was shared at the National Industry Conference as the "Double Carbon Technology Promotion Benchmark" of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association.
Facing the future, Guangzhou Plastics Industry Group is planning to build the second phase of a zero-carbon intelligent factory. It plans to introduce photovoltaic energy storage systems and injection waste heat recovery devices. It aims to achieve 100 percent of the green electricity supply and 50% reduction in carbon emissions per unit output value of the core production line by 2026 compared with 2020.
